Where it
all began

Ann Dawe dreamt up ideas for the home back in 1967… bright 60’s colours, bold patterns and innovative kitchen napery emerged from her own kitchen table, all those years ago. Gradually over the years, Ann explored new niche markets so that Annabel Trends has become what it is today – a family company dedicated to supplying the marketplace with giftware that sets trends, with strengths in design, colour, practicality and presentation.

To where they
are now

In 2006, Ann’s daughter Sally relocated Annabel Trends from Melbourne to the Gold Coast in Queensland. It is here at the Burleigh Heads factory that a large proportion of the giftware is made and assembled. Fabrics, ribbons, packaging and products are sourced all over the world. 

Although Annabel Trends’ began with kitchen napery, which is still a strong line for the company today, other product categories emerged: garden gifts, scented therapeutic and soothing products, travel accessories, spa and pamper products, bath and body products, baby gifts, and decorative home wares. Ann continues to do what she is passionate about most – scouring the world for the latest trends and innovations, in order to develop exciting new products.
